Year 13 "Muck-Up Day"

Year 13s chose to celebrate their last day in school with the theme of pirates.

In registration, Catering helped me put on a spread of crossiants and muffins with tea, coffee and juices.  Assembly was then held in the Chapel.

A "Thank you" to my House prefects

On Thursday, I put on a small spread of sandwiches and cake to say "thank you" to my Year 13 House prefects.  They have been absolutely brilliant this year.  The girls in Summerhill and I have really appreacited all their efforts.  The prefects this year were Meghan, Ellie, Annie, Jess, Orla, Emily, Anna, Evie and Josie.

Sunday 18th - Rowing photos

The good weather brought on a spurt of people falling in the river this week - or drifting off down stream.  The following are a selection of photos I was sent from Mr Chua.

Saturday 17th May - BBQ in Summerhill to celebrate Meghan's 18th birthday

Saturday 17th was an absolutely fantastic day.  The sun had shone all day and the girls were happy.  We had a BBQ supper in our garden.  The girls helped me move the table around from the front of the house and we set up food for 22.

We had steak, chicken kebabs, burgers and sausages from the BBQ.  There was also Cesar salad, salsa, potato salad and nachos with melted cheese.  The food was excellent.

Meghan had been away at home on the day of her actual 18th birthday so we celebrated it with her today.

General shot - you can just about see Dave cooking at the BBQ

I made a chocolate fudge cake for Meghan.  For some reason Zoe wanted the candles like this - something about a Unicorn cake??

Edith, Kiera, Meghan and Mimi (who now appears that she doesn't mind ahving her photo taken after hiding from me at Green Park!)

We were too full to enjoy cake immediately after the BBQ so we sang happy birthday to Meghan later in the evneing

The cake wasn't actually as 'on fire' as it looks here - just my camera not dealing with the light
