Charity fund raising for Papyrus

Last week, Ellie Brearey and her friends gave an assembly on a charity called Papyrus.  Its aim is to help young people and their families with the hope of preventing young suicide.  Ellie gave a very moving introduction about how her family had been through the pain of losing someone to suicide.

Ellie will be doing a sponsored silence on Friday 10th May with her friends.  Summerhill will be supporting her by bagging up 1p sweets this weekend ready to sell next Thursday and Friday.

The kittens have arrived

The kittens arrived on the last day of term - Friday 27th March.  They are now 5 weeks old and are very cute.  We have not named any of them as we will not be keeping them.
