The boarders got ready for the Burns Night and spent the evening in the Dining Hall eating a delicious meal, that included Haggis.  The evening started with the ceremonial procession of the Haggis and ended in the Sports Hall with a Ceilidh.

Breakfast Club - tutorial time

 Breakfast Club - each Tuesday there is Breakfast Club in the House.  A different year group each week spends their tutorial time in the House, having croissants, catching up with one another and doing tutorial activities.

                                       SUMMERHILL WON THE BEST CAKE AWARD!


At the end of January, there was the Boarders Bake Off Weekend, which involved each House baking a cake ( that had an App theme) and a dessert. In Summerhill, the Year 10's and 11's made a 'You Tube' cake and for dessert produced chocolate muffins. The sixth formers baked a 'Notes' cake and cinnamon doughnuts.  The judges came round and tasted them on Sunday afternoon and the girls treated them to cups of tea and their cakes.  Summerhill year 10 and 11 girls were the winners of the best cake..... it was delicious!  A fantastic team effort from the girls.
