Sixth forners running the Pretty Muddy event - they raised over £1,700.00 for Cancer Research

Our Head of House, Emily, organised for the sixth formers to compete in the Pretty Muddy event up at the race course.  It was a very wet and muddy day, but the girls ran with great spirit and raised over £1,700.00 for Cancer Research - an incredible achievement.

Year 13 Fahita / pyjama evening

The year 13's came to Summerhill for the traditional start of year meal, where they decided to come in their pyjamas!  The girls ate fahitas and ice cream and then played some games that involved trying to flip and catch cups and stack them!

HOUSE MUSIC - WINNERS OF THE HOUSE SONG!

Having spent the day rehearsing - Summerhill and Middle House put on a great performance of Abba's, 'Gimme, Gimme' .  They also performed a great rendition of 'I want you back'. It was a great effort by all, with fantastic House spirit shown throughout the day - well done on being the winners of the House song!

                                                                    First Weekend of Term

The boarders cooked pancakes for breakfast in the House. With a boarder living in America, we were treated to American pancakes with maple syrup!

Start of the Autumn Term 2018

Welcome to all the girls in the House.

The start of term has seen a number of new girls into the House and the first few days back have busy.  The first day back was Induction Day for all the Year 12's which ended with a Celidh and BBQ, which was lots of fun.
