End of term Entertainment

Summerhill and Middle had their annual Easter Egg hunt on Thursday 27th March.

We all met in the Dining Hall as we reviewed the rules and got into teams.  This year, we chose to hide in the Senior School grounds as apposed to the Prep school.

The rules were simple.  Find the cardboard eggs that the Upper Sixth hid around the school - get 100 points.  Find an Upper Sixth student holding a cardboard bunny - get 500 points.  Find Mrs Brown or Mr Redman - get a whopping 1000 points.

As the Upper sixth and the staff hid, the lower sixth were left to do warm up exercises.

After we were all found, we made our way to Middle where we finished with a BBQ and singing.

The staff get together to help serve the food - not sure what's wrong with Georgia though

Add a bit of ketchup

See what I mean about Meghan

I managed to get a photo of Jenny - just!  She's being held in place.

Year 9s pleased about being photographed - especially Maddy.  Maybe she's worried she's lost her hat?

A massive 'thank you' must go to Mr Burgon. Without his accompanyment the singing would not be half as much fun.

Year 9 & 10 Cross Country

Following on from the Senior race, Years 9 & 10 were released into the wild after lessons. The weather remained kind to us and did not deliver the downpour forcast.
There are fewer photo's of the start, mainly because I was deluded enough to think I could join in. Didn't quite work out this way!

Emma is just showing off by going around again!

Still not quite sure why Maddy is wearing the hat

Just keep swimming ....

And the first girl across the line is ....  Becci.  She was so speedy I nearly missed her in the photo!
But ......
.... I really did miss Abi as she crossed the line. Good, atmospheric photo of 'hair and shoe' crossing the line.'
