Birthday celebrations

Yesterday, was Miss Elliott's and Martha's birthdays.  Both spent the day with their respective families so we celebrated tonight.

Having recently been on a bread making course, I am trying to perfect cinnamon rolls.  I'm not quite there yet but the girls are enjoying eating my trail runs.

Today, I made another batch of cinnamon rolls (feedback - bread not quite so nice, maybe a bit too salty).  I also made red velvet buns for the first time.  The cream cheese icing when really well with the cinnamon rolls.  I bought a chocolate cake just to cover any mistakes I made.

Martha was 16 so had 16 candles.  Miss Elliott wasn't so she had one.

Supper in House

Tonight we all eat together in House.  It was really nice as there were a lot of girls here this weekend - 20 of us.  Dave did a fantastic job roasting 2 turkeys and cooking leeks, sweetcorn, roast potatoes, home made stuffing and gravy.  There was lots for everyone. Thanks go to the girls who peeled potatoes and made everything just that little bit easier.
