Every year, years 10 and 11 have a ball at the end of the Autumn term.  This year 180 students attended.  Discussions about dresses have been going on for literally weeks with numerous cat walk sessions having happened.

Saturday supper in House

Dave decided to go all out tonight and cook for the 19 girls left in House.  He roasted a gammon joint and made dauphinoise potatoes and cabbage.  This was enough to cause much excitement but more was to follow ....

For pudding, Dave was inspired by the extra large pineapples on sale and with some help from Lottie and Lara, soon had them looking amazing.  After some gentle cooking and basting in an amazing sauce we had ....

pineapples

Dave flambeed them which caused much excitement.  Christmas had come early :)  A massive thank you to Dave, Lottie, Lara and Mimi who all helped create such an excellent meal.
