Christmas meal in House

Last night, we had our annual Christmas meal in Summerhill.  The lounge was cleared of chairs and the room was set up for 40 covers.  Catering did an absolutely amazing job again making feeding all the girls incredibly easy. We had turkey, stuffing, pigs in blankets, sprouts, carrots, parsnips, roast potatoes all with gravy and cranberry sauce.  For pudding we were given the most enormous yule log we have ever seen along with a white chocolate pavlova.

The tables had crackers, party hats and party poppers.  We had a good time trying to get the empty party poppers into Abi's upturned hat. Silly but fun.

We were so full after our first course, we started watching our film together and stopped after an hour to have pudding.  The girls somehow managed to squeeze in some chocolates as well.

It was a superb night which was very relaxed and good fun.

Thank you girls for being such good company.

The largest yule log ever!
